Program Topics

Casual Herp Mobile

This program doesn't have a set topic - we'll just be meeting some of our cold blooded ambassadors and talking about all the cool facts that come with them!  This can include reptiles, amphibians, insects, or turtles.

Learn about the different diets our animals can have! Do you know the difference between a carnivore, insectivore, omnivore, herbivore, and frugivore?

Lets talk about endangered species, invasive species, and conservation! What are our reptile friends facing out in the wild and what we can do to help them!

Meet some of our lizard ambassadors! We'll be discussing what makes lizards so cool!

Food Chains

How do food chains work? We'll bring animals to your classroom to help students visualize how a food chain would work in the wild.

Why is a blue tongue skinks tongue blue? Why can a gecko drop its tail? Learn what an adaptation is and what unique adaptations our scaly friends have!

Slither, Squiggle, Squirm!

Learn all about snakes and what makes them unique!

Snakes vs Lizards

What's the difference between a snake and a lizard? We'll compare and contrast a couple of our scaly friends to find out!

All Around the World!
